Service Description
Whether you’ve never handled a rifle before or want to strengthen your fundamentals, this course provides a structured introduction to safe and effective rifle operation. Students will learn: * Firearm safety and range etiquette * Parts and operation of modern sporting rifles and traditional rifles * Loading, unloading, and malfunction procedures * Proper stance, grip, and recoil management * Sight alignment and sight picture * Zeroing fundamentals * Trigger control and follow-through * Basic shooting positions * Accuracy fundamentals at practical distances * Safe transportation, storage, and maintenance This course emphasizes building solid habits from the beginning through hands-on instruction and live-fire coaching. No prior experience is required. Students should bring: * A safe, functioning rifle * At least 150 rounds of ammunition * Eye and ear protection * Magazine(s) * Water and weather-appropriate clothing Loaner rifles may be available upon request.
