Service Description

Prerequisite: Completion of Session #3 – Handgun Performance Foundations. This course integrates holster work, movement, positional shooting, and defensive application into a cohesive skill set. Students begin combining mechanics learned in prior sessions into efficient, repeatable performance under increasing complexity. This session emphasizes movement discipline, efficiency, and safe gun handling under controlled pressure. Students will work on: • Multi-target engagements and controlled transitions • Movement with purpose (entries, exits, and stability on demand) • Shooting from and around barriers using cover vs. concealment principles • Reload and malfunction management while moving • Positional shooting (kneeling and low-profile positions as applicable) • Shot timer integration for performance tracking This is the stage where individual skills become integrated performance. Equipment & Clothing Requirements Holster-based instruction requires appropriate equipment for safety. Students must bring: • Personal handgun • Quality IWB or OWB holster • Minimum three magazines • At least one magazine pouch with belt attachment (double pouch recommended) • Proper range attire: sturdy belt, pants with functional belt loops capable of supporting a holster, and stable footwear • Shirt or outer garment suitable for ground work (students will be kneeling/prone and working from dirt or gravel) Optional: • Knee pads or similar protective gear If safe and suitable holster equipment is not available, instructor-provided equipment — including firearm, holster, and accessories — will be required. Use of instructor firearms requires DCTT-issued ammunition in accordance with company policy. Students must notify the instructor in advance if they are left-handed to ensure proper equipment configuration. If required equipment is not present at check-in, the session will be converted to the Gear + Ammo Included rate. Recommended Round Count: 350 rounds of 9mm. All prices are per student.

Cancellation Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. When a student cancels without sufficient notice, it prevents another student from enrolling. In fairness to all students and instructors, this policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation. Cancellation Cancellations require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled class time. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged a late cancellation fee of $80. Rescheduling Rescheduling requests must be made by phonecall or text to Don Carroll at (425) 780-7171 at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class date. please also follow up with an email to Don@dctrainingandtactics.com Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice will result in an $80 late cancellation fee. No Show Policy Any student who fails to appear for their scheduled session without providing at least 48 hours’ notice will be considered a No Show and will be charged the full session fee. No refunds will be issued. Weather Policy Training will take place rain or shine. Student-initiated rescheduling due to weather will not be accommodated and may be subject to applicable fees. Instructors may cancel classes when prudent due to extreme weather conditions. Students will be notified via email and phone at least 24 hours in advance when possible. In the event of instructor-initiated cancellation due to extreme weather, rescheduling may be permitted at no additional charge. Failure to acknowledge instructor advisories does not qualify for reimbursement. in other words, you must respond. Dismissal from Training DC Training & Tactics reserves the right to dismiss any student from a training session immediately for safety-related reasons or for failure to comply with instructor commands. Students dismissed from a course for safety violations are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling. Intoxication & Impairment Policy Participants must not attend training while under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs, or any medication that may impair judgment, coordination, or safe firearm handling. DC Training & Tactics reserves the right to deny participation or dismiss any individual who appears impaired for any safety-related reason. Dismissal for impairment will result in immediate removal from the course and forfeiture of all course fees. No refunds or rescheduling will be provided in such cases.
